About

In 2016 the Jewish congregation of Shaare Torah was defaced in a hate crime. In the wake of that event, a few congregations decided that a public response of love, unity, and respect would help to not only heal current hurts, but make a longterm difference in Montgomery County.

Every year we gather on Labor Day (a day which is not a sabbath for anyone who is religiously observant) and a day that many have off from work. We are united in our commitment to learn about one another; to do something active and good for our bodies; to demonstrate togetherness; and to help those in need (read about our beneficiaries).

There are many races, but not many like this one whose primary purpose is to bring people from all walks of life together and foster better lives for others. We hope you’ll run or walk with us!
